Time of admission/honors programs

Hi all!

I was accepted to UT Austin (out-of-state) for CS a few days ago and also applied to Dean's Scholars and Turing Scholars programs. I understand that these decisions are not necessarily at the same time but I can't find any info as to when they might come out, and some around here seem to have already been notified.

Also out of curiosity, do some applicants get decisions earlier than others and why? I expected to find out far later due to being out-of-state.

I got an acceptance email from the director of CNS Honors yesterday. I applied for Health Science Honors and am in-state but idk how much of a difference that would make

^ congrats. I remember you from the Clark scholar forum. Did you get any scholarship for HSH ? I think you had a perfect SAT score if i remember right.

@awesometoad - when i learnt about DS notifications in CC I sent an email to the DS folks and I was told that decisions will be released from early January through February, in no particular order. I got the notification on January 19th. The on-campus DS visit day is on Friday, February 7th

@yetanotherid, that’s me haha…didn’t get any scholarship (didn’t know if there was any scholarship associated with HSH).
