time to start studying for AP exams?

when do you plan to start studying/reviewing for AP exams...

i dunno, they seem awfully close.

During the Spring Break, which begins this weekend. :)

my AP US History teacher started reviewing on March 15...i'd say for humanities APs you should start reviewing now because of the bulk of reading that needs to be reviewed. my AP computer science teacher hasnt finished the curriculum yet though so go figure...what APs are you taking?
good luck :)

Yeah. I'm so screwed for the AP French exam...I had a quiz in that class (just 3 random AP passages from a book) and I got an 8/28...I'm SOOOOOO going to fail that AP...I'll be happy if I get a 1....but USH should be easy.

I'm taking:
US Govt
Comparative Govt
MicroEconomics
MacroEconomics
Psychology
PhysBAP
CalcABAP
Literature

and I've been reviewing for two weeks already...

month of april, which includes a lousy 2 day spring break, how gay

can anyone tell how bad the AP European H is?

Kinda stressing out over it (my first AP)

Does anyone have any idea what are the requirements of AP US History?? I have a teacher recommendation and my average is 94. However, I'm just in a regular class. I heard from a teacher, this school is high competitive (3,700 students what do you think?) so they look for Honors students and AP European History students more so >.<"

Requirements? To get a decent score?

Study REA, it's about 342 pages, and will prepare you really well for the MC (even if you didn't read the book) if you have a good memory for historical facts. For essays, you can practice the essay topics included in the book, or find old ap exams with essays to practice in the time limit, i dunno, my teacher covered DBQs and Essays pretty well in our class. I studied the book the weekend before the exam and came out with a 4, i also left 21 blank on the test, because I was (mistakenly) afraid to guess if i I didn't know the solid answer.

anyone done ap world history before? i am a little nervous because we have not done any writing at all in class. half my class hasnt even heard of a dbq. also we just started period 1914 to the present, so we will finish right before the exam with no review time left.

so whats the best review book to use? especially one that covers how to write the essays?

For all of my AP history classes, no teacher has finished the cirriculum wither more than week left until the exam.

As for AP World, you should be fine. The majority of the test is on the middle periods, with very little focus on 1914 to Present, though there may be some questions and possibly part of an essay on it.

I took the exam two years ago, but I liked the Princeton Review book for practice MC and how it covered the topics. I read that book for the two weeks before the test and came out with a 4.

most of my APs are in the afternoon so that about sth under 6 hours of study if u count all the periods, but i'll be studying penspinning anyway so i guess i could say i started a long time ago... yea 5 APs last yr = cakewalk

Can you please repost in english?

"Most of the APs I will take will be adminstered during the afternoon, which is almost 6 hrs of study before even taking them, if you count all periods. But, I'll be studying pen-spinning anyway, so I started studying a long time ago (?) But since I'm such an excellent student, 5 APs last year was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I also received all 5's, making me much better than you ever will be, *****"

AP World is easy, don't sweat it.

Anyone know which books are good for AP CS A?

AP World was easy. I studied in class and read the book the morning of at breakfast, like 10 friends and I just went through and dissected a whole exam before. Then like half of us threw up because it was our first exam. Haha that was funny.
I haven't even started studying yet, but I really should. Especially physics B. Ahh I'm going to get a 1.

April, which includes a 3 week spring break/miniterm. I love how my school plans out holidays to let us study at home :p.

Not yet. Got more time.
