Time to thank our mothers

On this great day I took my mother out to a very fancy dinner on me. I have realized I will not be able to spend a mothers day with her in person for the next few years considering I'll be going away to boarding school next year and then college. I realized how much would not have been possible without my hard working single mother who not only helped me with my school work, financially, and come cheering for me to my games. Through her hard work and my motivation we are able to start a new chapter not in my life but hers also.

I think we should take a time from cc to go than our parents who have supported us through this difficult and hard process of applying to boarding school

Don’t you worry andoverhopeful-circlemidnight’s momma is a very happy mother.

:) Mother here (obviously). While I hadn’t considered the fact that my d would be away for mother’s day this year, until the day itself arrived, I can say that there are ways that you can honor your mother once you’re at BS that will make her cry with joy. My d sent me chocolates for mother’s day. It was such a wonderful surprise gesture that I forgot to be sad that she wasn’t in the room.

My D called and talked for over an hour about everything and nothing at all. We laughed, her friends came into her room periodically and yelled “Hi Mom, we love you!” It was the best mother’s day gift ever.

The good news is that the joy will last at least until you get the phone bill. :D
