When will my son hear from Ohio State University? He has received admittance into business at Kelley and U of I and meets the requirements for the business school at OSU but has heard nothing! Have all of their acceptance letters gone out does anyone know? What does that mean if he hasn’t heard anything yet?
“Your admissions decision will appear in your Applicant Center. See decision terms in the callout on this page. Autumn term applicants: If you met Ohio State’s November 1 early action deadline, you will receive an admission decision by mid-January; otherwise, you will receive an admission decision by end of March. Spring term applicants: Admission decisions are released on a rolling basis.”
This is from their website. All admissions decision dates for any college are readily available if you google them. If your son did not apply EA then they probably just started reviewing his application. If he did then he will probably have a decision soon.
Thank you. Yes I did read all of that and he did have it in by the Nov. 1 deadline. However, everyone we know who has done the same have all heard back from OSU. His status says his application is still being evaluated so I’m just curious as to why and if this is normal.
I would suggest that your son call or email admissions if he gets nothing in the next week and ask if there is a delay with his application.
@CWilson13 My daughter is still under evaluation as well and she applied early action. I had her call last week and they told her she is still being considered for early action.
Her transcript wasn’t downloaded until 11/16/2016 when we were on the tour and I inquired about it, even though it was sent to them in October.
Interesting! Ok, thank you!
