<p>My S applied to OSU in mid-October. When can he expect to find out if he got in? He has been offered admission to Pitt and Michigan State, but OSU is probably his top choice.</p>

<p>You can browse the threads from last year and see many other timelines. I don't know if the same system applies this year, but you can also call the office. They are very helpful.</p>

<p>I applied in early October and am still waiting on a decision as well.</p>
<p>Historically, the first "batch" of admissions notifications will go out the first or second week of December.</p>
<p>The status for my D says: evaluation. The application was completed in Oct 29th per the web site. </p>
<p>So, that evaluation takes about 30 days?</p>
