Hey guy,
So I sent in my ED for Cornell last month. I sent in everything except my subject test scores. The scores came on on 24th of November and before that I got an email warning me to send my scores already. I couldn’t do anything except send my scores early without seeing them. I didn’t really have an option because I will not be taking them again. I had heard that it took 1-3 weeks for scores to reach college so I had to decide between deferring my admission plan or sending in the scores. I decided to send my scores on 16th November using the free send score report thing. I checked today (24th) and my scores had already reached Cornell and luckily i did decent on my Subject tests.
Here is my suggestion:
If you apply ED and will be sending your November SAT scores then you have to choices like I did:
- If you are not sure that you did well or are planning to retake your SAT then defer your admission.
- If you are sure that you did well or you are not going to take the tests again then send it... Make sure you send it like a week prior to the scores coming out (this might not be the case and you could very well send it late but I didn't wanna take any chances)... because for me Cornell received the scores the same day they came out.
This post is for future ED applicants and people who will be be giving December SAT for RD and not for ED applicants as dates have already passed.
Thanks and enjoy
