For those that are currently active students, do you have any advice for the incoming freshman? Any tips, regarding all facets of the UF experience, is greatly appreciated and welcome.

Be friendly, try to make a friend in every class on your first day, join clubs/organizations.

dont act a fool and start off on the wrong foot academically. get involved with your department as much as you can.

How about don’t ask a question that’s already been asked.

Being friendly isn’t bad at all, just make the right friends, observe before you consider someone a friend. Other than that join student clubs and meet the prereqs so you can be admitted to the major of your chose at UF.

Manage your time as best you can.
Manage your time as best you can.
Manage your time as best you can.
Manage your time as best you can. I cannot stress that enough.

Be involved. I would recommend joining a student organization. If you have a light course load, I would recommend 2 (1 that is interesting to you, and another that will benefit you professionally or benefit your major).

Do not be afraid to be friendly (no matter what dorm you are in). I made plenty of lifelong friends in my dorm and first year.
