Hi,
I am a freshman in high school and i love columbia. It is my dream school but i actually dont know how to stand out/ be a strong delegate so anyone give me any tips???
Thanks in advance

Trust me, do not search for something to make you stand out. It’s all about passion. Find something you love, and get into it. It’s as simple as that. When it comes right down to it, the person that will get into Columbia is the one that can get in that middle 50% of test scores and GPA, and have some activities that they are really committed to and can express themselves through. Of course, there is also the essays. Those are crucial, and definitely should not be taken lightly. I would plan those out at least two months in advance.

i am not good at essays, how do i improve??? and plus i want to go to do medical… so im startign a club called HOSA is that good? and would research help me get in?
