Hey guys, I will be taking the exam next week but I haven’t taken the class. I read REA crash course twice now. Any tips for anyone with a lack of class experience?

Know the themes/ideas for all of the different regions, time periods, and events. The AP test is more about the cause and outcome of events and less about the actual event - i.e. the question will more likely ask you how World War 2 affected women’s rights in the decades following rather than what happened in World War 2.

I heard that if you know US history stuff, you should do okay, but I’m not sure.
Wikipedia is actually useful though

If you haven’t taken the class, I would recommend going on college board & finding past FRQs & DBQs & trying them. Then you could use the scoring guidelines & the sample responses to grade yourself. but be honest! This will definitely help you get when you see it on the exam, that way you will know what to expect. Good luck!
