Tips on Club Management?

Hi all,

In the middle school, I participated and won #1 place at TSA states, but didn’t go to nationals because of $$$ reasons. I was dissapointed to see that the year my class came to the HS was the year they discontinued TSA, so I decided to start up the club again. Considering I’m going to be the president (first club with leadership position) I could use some help.

Any tips on club management?

Keep a notebook of an agenda for meetings, find a faculty advisor who will be reliable, and organize regular meetings (and keep attendance! know which members are slacking).

I’m president of 2 clubs and secretary of 1. I get out of school at 2:10 and get home at about 2:30. 2:30-3:00 is when I watch an episode of Friends. 3:00-4:00 is my “club” hour. I work on any newsletters, agendas, fundraisers, or other stuff that I need done. Then I do my homework. If there’s ofher stuff that needs fo get done then I do it after. Unless I have a club meeting after school, then those times get altered. Hope that helps
