Ok I don’t exactly have tips TO speed things up, but I can certainly compile a list of activities to avoid…

1) visiting the Brown Undergraduate Admissions site and hitting your refresh button aggressively for a 10-or-15 second count.
2) visiting CC on the hour
3) eating brownies (amazing now what will cause your mind to drift back into the dark hole of admission anxiety)

And uh, that’s about it for now. Whoever proposed the whole practice-what-you-preach nonsense clearly didnt apply to college. Which is why I’m headed downstairs… to have a brownie…

But I mean if you do have some helpful, nonjagoff tips, I’m sure they’d be wonderfully appreciated.

that's crazy.... i am actually doing all of those things!! we actually have two boxes of brownies at my house AND someone brought some to school today. i may actually be getting sick of brownies :P

Ohh.... Write poetry about how much you want to get in. Ummm.... I tried the Brownie thing but it just reminded me too much of Brown. I actually have started a colored pencil drawing in which I only use different shades of Brown.- like honey-brown or red-brown. I also listen to the song "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown" and read about H Rap Brown in my history book.

Where I work (pharmacy), brown is everywhere. Brown shoe polish, "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?" children's book, Dan Brown and some 3 other "Brown" authors, check from someone last name Brown, Brown marker, brown honey, and a UPS truck outside with our latest delivery...

But I'm actually worrying about it less and less as the time approaches, though without a doubt, the worry-graph will shoot sky high as soon as Thursday rolls around.

In fact, if I had to graph my worriedness, the equation would be

When you guys find out, and if it's a good discovery, JOIN THE BROWN MYSPACE GROUP ASAP!! we need more people on it, and can't wait to meet you all - it's getting lonely with us Early decisioners hogging up the board, we need some new faces :-)

What I'd like to do: sleep. If you manage to sleep at all, do so right up to the D-hour (D is for Death). Then wake up and check all the decisions, and hopefully the emotional impact of negative ones might be lessened when you're still groggy:D
Anyway, what I'm actually going to do: buy A LOT of chips (I love chips, love it love it love it, yum!); try to finish Angels and Demons (what the heck) and stay up and chat the night away with CC'ers (yes, for me the decisions come at the ungodly hour of 5 AM). In short I'm gonna enjoy the last happy hours of my life to the full;)
