soozievt-you should get paid by NYU because you are so knowledgeable!

Ha ha, well, after my kid went there for four years and also has worked for NYU in several capacities including at NSB, not to mention I am a college counselor who advises MT and Acting applicants (several of whom have gone to Tisch), I should know a thing or two about Tisch! :D

Soozievt, Good suggestion about the Tisch special theatre program. Might offer a good compromise for pishposh, who could attend Butler but visit Tisch. A friend of my DS did this as a visiting student from her college in PA. It gave her a taste of NYC as well as NYU. Summer sessions are also a great way to pick up credits to transfer back to college. My son did Stonestreet Studios–an NYU advanced studio–one summer as a teen (for the experience, not for credit). He was surrounded by all kinds of actors. The majority were NYU students gaining credit. But there were also visiting students from other colleges as well as international students.

Not NYU, but Syracuse University sponsors the Tepper Semester in NYC in the spring of senior year. Mostly Syracuse students, but students from other schools as well. I have ad students from two different institutions where I have worked participate and love it.

Well Soozievt I am very grateful for your help!
