To all of us who got accepted, the hardest part now is......

thanks stressedOut...I'm in California....so that perspective helps

Film and Art are what I love....I didn't get film at USC but I got in undeclared and I got Art at UCLA

Congrats chappa on both your acceptances. Have you visited both? If not, I would strongly suggest it.

thanks...I've been to both....did a summer film program at UCLA and stayed in the dorms...have a good friend going to USC and visited her there a couple of times....been on tours of USC....I really like both schools....

Then I'm sure it will be a tough choice. If you really want film school, I would go the USC route. Even if you didn't get in film yet, your foot is already in the door and it is possible (although I don't know how difficult), to switch schools. I think it's a matter of applying. However, if $$ is a factor, then UCLA is probably the way to go. Good luck in choosing. Either one is a winner. :)

I think you are probably right. For film it's USC. I took a tour and saw the plans for the new Lucas building and it's going to be amazing when that opens.

Yes, I saw it in a brochure. Amazing. Very Spanishy looking. Kinda like an old giant Taco Bell. :D jk. Actually, it reminded me a little of Stanford's looks.

I'd go to UCLA then.. not only because you got into Art directly, but it's also like half the price :)

congrats on both!

thanks...I know my dad likes the half price deal.. that's for sure

if money is not an issue:

an undergrad education is not so much about prestige as it is about how well you will learn
at ucla there are soooo many undergrads and you wont get personal attention that you will get for certain classes (usc has a lot too but many of their classes are still small due to the amount of different colleges)
