I understand that some of you ask this question because you genuinely don’t know if a 2300+ is “good enough” for colleges. But to those of you who ask because you want to prove that you’re capable of answering three more questions in a subject or that you’re better than others, don’t you have anything better to do than to waste $54.50 and a Saturday morning? Use your money and time wisely. Spend them by volunteering at the homeless shelter or taking your family out to dinner to celebrate. Donate your money to charity or study for your upcoming tests. The options are endless.
Also, be grateful with your scores. So many people, many of whom are not privileged enough to take bootcamps and classes and tutoring sessions, would do nearly anything to get scores as high as yours. Understand that if colleges reject you, it is not because of your scores, but because of something else much more reflective of your character, such as your essays.
Please rethink the next time you find yourself pondering this question.
