So on the common app it allows u to apply to both and simply provide a why emory university short ans for both...So my question is did u guys just talk about emory college and the university of oxford also... they oxford info probably wont help out in the emory college admissions though right? so how did u about it... i feel like leaving oxford out of the ans will make it seem like u really dont wanna go to oxford and just applying it as a safety if emory college doesnt work out... i really wanna right two different responses but i think that requires two application fee right?

I just wrote about Emory College. I'm assuming you prefer Emory over Oxford. If so, then I recommend you focus on Emory college. Don't worry about omitting Oxford info. Focus on what your top choice is.

sorry to bring this up again but did other people who applied to both colleges did the same thing ... i just dont wanna jeopardize my chance at oxford by focusing too much in emory college and trying to save 50 bucks ...

I don't think focusing on one school will "jeopardize" your chance at either. After all the question does ask "Why Emory?"; I suppose they're referring to the university as a whole. I applied with paper to Emory and common app for oxford. So I just wrote two different why essays... I guess I wanted each school to feel special. You don't have to submit the supplements online. You could just write separate essays and send them to both with your name and SS#
