To apply or not to apply with border income.

<p>Hi, I was told to apply for Questbridge, but I'm not sure as my income is around 62,000 in a family of three. There are special circumstances however:
-My mom doesn't work.
-The income is higher because my dad works over 12hours on weekdays overtime. His wages per hour are theoretically lower. I only see him on Saturdays and Sundays.
-My mom gambles periodically and loses a chunk of the income (10k~)
-I'm first generation; rather, neither of my parents have ever been to school.</p>

<p>My stats academically are just mediocre, but decent.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks!</p>

<p>Yes, give it a try. The 60k is not a hard and fast rule, it’s just a guideline. Recognize though that no one will be sympathetic toward the gambling issue. That is $10k that your mother could spend on your education.</p>
