Hi Guys, I'm new here but I lurk occasionally. I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice. I had a really bad senior year due to illness. I didn't take SAT's or really do anything about the whole college admin process; my health has improved and now i'm wondering what to do about college. I've taken 14 AP classes and I'm listed as a national scholar. I did manage to scrape the honors cord due to previous performance but my unweighted GPA is 2.78 because of the classes I failed last year. So should I try to slip into college this fall or just load up on service hours to improve my chances?

Should I move this?

Perhaps you should enroll in a community college to stay sharp, work, and do some community service. You can than think about transferring.
