To ED or not to ED

So basically I just found out that the early decision applicant pool is much more competitive than regular. For someone who is a borderline applicant like myself would it be wiser to apply early or just wait till regular decisions where it isn't as competitive? BTW this is for Emory University

What would you guys do??

IF you REALLY want to get into Emory, just ED it.
If you get UNLUCKY, you can still reapply, right?
and what were your AP scores?

Agree with above. If you are serious about Emory go ahead with ED. Also look at some EAs also UNC chapel hill, UVA etc.

If it’s where you want to go and you know you can pay for it, apply ED. Worst thing that can happen is that they’ll defer you to RD.
