To everyone that goes to boarding school

Haha scales, IDK I never hung out with the lax stars at PEA too much. Two of my friends who went there were both on JV. I used to be friends with one of the best lax players there He absolutely does NOT fit the stereotype. In fact I do not personally know any lax player who is a true “bro.”
and bbc, I know, I was kidding about the studying. I don’t know how exclusive the social system is at PEA, but you should be able to chill with some hotties. Get to know the 5-5 rule (I believe that’s what it’s called), where you stay in a chicks dorm from 5PM to 5AM and…study…but the security is pretty tight with that stuff
Also, don’t be surprised at the drug use at this school. My friends and I are all partiers but we shied away from some dorm room happenings. A few kids do cocaine and such

Bdangle are you a junior?

No I’m a senior at Exeter High School. I went to middle school with Gill, who then went to a private hs for lacrosse and then transferred to PEA, that’s why he’s a year behind me

Are the parties any good at PEA, or such I go off campus for a good party?

scales, about the lax bro thing, its just a lax thing. obviously you can still be good if ur not a bro but you wanna be a bro. And I wanna know the answer to ur last post too about parties, I mean I wanna go to some decent parties but I agree completely with bdangle, I dont wanna sit in my room doing coke like u said some kids do.

What is a bro exactly anyways?

Look up “ultimate lax bro” on youtube (I can’t post links here) and also check out my life is bro (.com). Basically they’re kids who talk smooth and smoke weed, are jerks to girls and who say they’re good at lax but really aren’t.
Anyhoo, the parties aren’t anything special. They’re just dorm “get togethers” with other people who happen to have weed/booze. I only went to a few (at least what I considered parties) and they were ok but you have to be realllly quiet so it kinda sucks. Luckily, my best friends who went there live in my neighborhood and we live about five minutes away so we’d just go back to their house and chill there. It isn’t too hard to sneak out, as long as you have a designated driver to get you back before a certain time. I know it’s hard for freshmen (or “preps”) to sneak out cuz of the time they have to be back, but the curfew gets later as you get older. Don’t expect anything crazy…after all, you’re in a PREP school with adults as resident advisors. So dont expect to get a chill RA, because they’re all adults who won’t allow anything close to a college type party

That *****ing sucks, I wonder would Andover be any better, well its a good thing im going to be a Upper if I get accepted xD

That’s pretty sick. Do you blaze? There are more opportunities to blaze at PEA than to drink, because the boarders at PEA who have the booze only have it because they know a day student who can get them some somehow, while if you smoke weed you pretty much just have to stand on a table in the cafeteria and ask who’s got the buds (I’m kidding, but it’s easy in Exeter, let me tell you)

Not recently, okay well maybe a few days ago, I dont really care too much about booze tho, cuz I’ve never had it, are the parties any better in town?

Haha what parties? You won’t be invited to any EHS parties (most of which get busted anyways because the cops here are redonk, I got busted last february…), and it’s not like people just have parties here. The town of Exeter is boring as ****, that’s why everyone smokes weed hahaha. But do take the buses they have available for you go visit the mall, because that place is sick. Best Buy, movie theater, old navy, chipotle’s, etc…
OH. And if you do go to PEA, MAKE SURE YOU GO TO LAS OLAS. It’s a walk but I’m sure you’ll be able to find kids who are willing to go. It’s the best mexican food on the planet.
anyways, getting back to the parties…so yeah. we don’t “party” here. Don’t go to prep school because of the parties, that’s what college is for haha

EDIT: you will have the opportunity to get high, get drunk, etc, but only occasionally, and probably not at the level you are expecting. Just be open to people, befriend as many people as you can, and you’ll meet kids like me or my best friends who have a house nearby you can visit

Oh well, I just I’ll have to wait until College haha Thanks for all the help dude

No problem man, good luck with everything and enjoy yourself. Senior year is the danks once you finish college crap…I’m so glad I’m done with apps and everything, gonna go skiing friday and party all New Years Eve night!
Cheers

yeah that’s cool I wasn’t expecting crazy college parties but if it’s easy to smoke then that’s pretty tight

Now, it’s easy to get bud but not as easy to smoke. There’s campus security and Exeter PD, who suck. Here’s a good place: there’s a spot between Gould House (off Tan Lane) and Main St. School’s playground near some tall pine trees. Other than that, if you can get by the security near the gyms late at night you’re golden: there’s a bridge that leads to some trails. Or you could go there during theday

I don’t know if you’ve done this but if you get a water bottle, cut out the bottom, fill it with dryer sheets, and then blow your smoke through that, it smells exactly like the dryer sheets with no scent of weed at all. If you open a window and do that it would be easy.

Haha YES I did that a year ago in my own basement with a few friends, except we used a paper towel tube. That’ll help you a lot in dorm rooms haha i completely forgot about that

5-5 rule.

Interesting. Neither I nor the senior I just asked on facebook have heard of that rule.
Perhaps you’re thinking of the similar 5 in the morning rule?

is it the same thing?

IDK Shelms, I don’t go to the school I’ve only heard of it a few times. It has something to do with the number five haha
