I'm mixed. In some ways it's good to read a review before you see a movie because you don't want to waste your money on a crap movie, but at the same time, I think its best to judge for yourself and you shouldn't go into a movie with the reviewers opinion already in your head. I don't like reading movie reviews until after I've seen the movie because then I think it kind of ruins it.

What was the last movie you saw in the theater?

Definitely, Maybe. I really liked it. :) Kind of a bittersweet movie, but you'll find yourself going "awww". Kind of a weird spin on it, because usually you see movies where the female is having the guy troubles, but here it's the other way around.

Xyai, I should have been more clear about "the girls I had stayed with". They are currently freshmen at Wellesley, and I stayed with them in their dorm. They were nice, but we just didn't really have too much in common. I didn't let a couple of girls ruin my opinion of Wellesley, though.

What kind of clothes do you usually wear/like to wear?

well it depends on my mood. it ranges from urban outfitters and people saying i look like a "hippie" to eastern-city-ish?

at times i like heels, high-waisted jeans, and basically a banana-republic-esque sort of feel... but i'm also obsessed with my north face fleece, veryyy warm wool scarf, and warm boots. and then during the summer i'm usually barefoot. i love my political tees and basically all the tanktops at urban outfitters (and anthropology especially, but i can't afford it).

uh... what is currently your favorite song?

^^That's a tough one to answer...who wants to share something so personal like that on the internet? xD Well mine was in eighth grade, we were doing square dancing, and I was wearing a light blue shirt. Since I'm an athlete, I sweat a lot, and so I started sweating, and the guys noticed...They started making guestures to their armpits and laughing, I was so embarrassed. :D

Buying the prettier editions of books, even if they're more expensive. :X I justify myself by pointing out the fact that I don't buy very much clothes / any makeup.

If you could eat one food without gaining any weight (or being negatively affected by it, health-wise), what food would it be?

I would have to say, it's a toss-up b/w the independent lifestyle and the challenging curriculum that college promises. I'm an international student, so going to college literally means a hundred different things! I can hardly wait, seriously!

I never have time to watch TV...but I try to keep up with Project Runway by checking online. (I think the final is a toss-up between Christian and Jillian...Go Christian!)

Just to keep it fashion-wise...Have you bought your Wellesley gear? Hoodies, sweatpants, etc...

No, I haven't, actually. I DID purchase a fabulous scarf while I was at Wellesley, though. Kept my neck warm the whole winter, although it was really long...

Come May, I should be ready to know where I'll be heading next year.

Dogs! I have two shiba inus who I love to death. I used to have a cat who I liked, but they just sort of make me feel uncomfortable. I'm definitely a dog person though I like all animals.

How many classes are you taking this semester?

Hillary Clinton. She's not as personable as Barack Obama, but it's because she's easier to attack. Why? Because she lays it all out there: her plan for America. Compared to Obama's perfumed puffs of air that everyone raves about being so inspirational...heck, what concrete plan has he presented us with? America can't run on choir singing and fainting women.

What's your favorite word from the English vocabulary?

^^OOoh I do not know..."love", just because of all the connotations. :) I can think of so many others, too.

I agree that Clinton is easier to attack than Obama and is probably a better candidate, but I support Obama because I see that America is not ready to have a woman president, considering all the deragatory names and insults used against her. I just wish that Clinton and Obama wouldn't waste their energy on attacking each other instead of the Republicans, though...

Do you consider yourself an artist? If so, what kind?

Definitely! I'm very much into art- simple pencil sketching, oil painting, acrylic painting, colored pencil drawing, etc. I've taken illustration classes and am currently taking a comic book illustration class! So yes, I do consider myself an artist, and art is something I want to continue pursuing in my future, though not as a career path. I guess I'm also a musician/writer. I'm just very big on art in general.

Sorry for posting again, but I couldn't resist the question. :D

I speak Russian, and am learning Japanese. Two very different languages, so it's tough! (Oh and I speak English, but you guys probably figured that out by now.)

PS: Xyai, comics = awesome! And art rocks my socks.

What is the most depressing book you have ever read?

The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, mainly because I totally did not expect the ending. The first time I read it, I was so distressed that I had to call my friend and rant/scream about it at her. I tend to avoid depressing/dramatic/sentimental books, though... and that's probably why. (But I'm not a sentimental person! Strange.)

catsushi: comics are indeed awesome, but SO DIFFICULT. I'm being forced to draw the things I usually avoid: backgrounds, dynamic poses, MALE CHARACTERS.. And it's amazing that you know Japanese and Russian. I'm taking Japanese for my foreign language requirement at school. Weirdly enough, I love English, but hate learning foreign languages. Oh, and there's no shame in posting again- but maybe I'm just being defensive :D

What are you least looking forward to at the moment?
