...got a royal flush of diamonds yesterday! no joke. two people had flushes and the other had a royal straight. how often does that happen . everyone went in a ****load of chips but i racked up the pot. isnt the chance of a royal flush 1 out of 52000 hands?

How much $$$ did you win? And I think the odds of those four hands being dealt are extremely small.

went home with $45 ($15 to play/ per person X 3 = 45)

Very nice take. Bigger stakes than I normally play with. We're a poor bunch down here.

any of u guys go online and lie about ur age? I'm thinking of doing it

I've gotten a royal flush once...while playing online =)

i live on hold 'em. ive never gotten a royal flush, ive gotten a few straight-flushes though.

Straitflush= my favorite hand... I slaughtered 4 other ppl with staits and flushes with them. Today I actually took down a full house with one...

pokerstars.net <--free online poker

i used to be pretty addicted to that, but i'm over it now.

anyone play for money online?

did you every end up finding one of those overseas sites lion?

a few months ago...i had an ace high...i was feeling pretty good just seeing that.
and the flop comes with 3 aces.
didnt win much..cuz 2 players had folded already..and the last player went all in w/ like..barely any chips...
it was still awesome.

Worst poker hand ever:

I went all-in with an A-9 with my stack dwindling. Chip leader calls me with a 7-2 off-suit. No problem right? Flop comes down with an Ace, 7, and something else. Still got the lead. Turn card is a 9. Boom two pairs, I'm set. Then...

The river is a 7. and I get beat by a 7-2 off-suit just like that.

superior child- na i never found an overseas site that allowed minors to play. anyone posting on this topic know of any? ...speaking of bad poker stories, i went all in with poket queens and a kid that had to be home called me just because he didnt care anymore- he had 5,6 of clubs and the flop came 6,5,6

I went all in with a full house before... lost to someone who picked up quad 5's in the river:/

ive won a couple of rounds going all in on a high card.....but only 2 players were left and he was easy to bluff.

that's a bust college_hopeful

i played with my bros today...
i didnt take home anything today but...

i went all in with a 2,5 offsuited (i was kind of over it and i was really down on chips). one person had pocket 10s and the other had 9,J offsuited.
Flop: J,8,5
Turn: 2
River: 2

full house (my opponents and me were hysterical!!!)

they ended winning their chips back later. (lost $10 though :( )

i got straight flush today. as well as a full house (but my friend got a 4 of a kind 8s so i got owned ). took home 12 bucks and was able to get 2 number ones at In-n-Out! (if u know what that is)

I envy you. In my three years of poker playing I have never gotten a royal flush of diamonds. Oh well I stick to my bluffs and my houses to clean the house for money ;).

Nice! You're a lucky man...

A few people here are talking about playing poker online (with fake money)...that is possibly the worst decision you can make. When you play with fake money, chances are you play loose. When you go and play with real money, you'll continue to play loose and really suck it up. Trust me, I've seen it multiple times...some big shot will come into the game boasting that he's great on some website, and then play loose as hell as we play tight. It's pretty funny actually...
