To retake or not to retake... That is the question.

<p>I am currently a junior who took the May SAT. I got a 2260. I am hoping to go to a top school. My favorites are Yale, Stanford, Brown, and Princeton. So should I retake my test? I have lackluster EC's and I'm hoping that retaking the test after practice will help put me in the competitive range.</p>

<p>Also, my breakdown was M:770, CR:750, and W:740 (8 on essay and 77 MC Subscore).</p>

<p>If you think you can score significantly better on a practice test and you were just really unlucky, retake. If you think that this score is your best so far, don’t.</p>
