to skip or not to skip

<p>Hey guys, im probabaly going to go to ga tech 2016!!!</p>

<p>i just had a question, i scored a 790 on my subject test for chem, and ga tech lets me get 4 hrs of chem 1310, i was wondering should i skip this course or take it, i just dont want to take it if its gonna be an unnecessary course, but if im majoring in chem or biomed eng, then i was thinking of taking it, im visiting tech soon to ask more questions but first what do you guys think</p>

<p>I’d skip it. If you’re a bit rusty you’ll be able to recover what you need when you need it. They wouldn’t let you exempt it if they didn’t judge that you demonstrated an adequate understanding in it to be successful in further classes. I’d prefer having to review some old material over having to take an entire 4 credit lab science class any day. I know that you might feel pretty rusty on it now, but it will come back quick.</p>
