To the Helpful Fin Aid Parents - Thank You!

Just wanted to thank all the Fin Aid 'experienced' parents that tirelessly post replies, thoughts and suggestions on this board. There are many of you .... you know who are!

As first timers, without the guidance / collective experiences posted here, my D and I would have had more than our share of 'foot faults.'

Apologies, in advance, if this is posted in the wrong board!

I am glad I was of help! Financial Aid is “daunting.” :)

I second HudValNY’s remarks! I have learned so much reading this discussion board.

The folks here are wonderful and if they don’t know an answer, they are honest enough to say so. Good luck to you and I hope the help you received gives your student some good options come May. Please pay it on.

i agree with the comments above; thanks to everyone who posts with such useful information! I find that I learn an incredible amount of information with just an hour or so of reading questions and responses each day.

Thanks!

Add me to the list of grateful, relatively new posters. We’ve learned a lot about the real-life issues of paying for college from this board. (OK, to be completely honest, my wife has learned a lot. Sometimes this particular board still makes my head hurt.)

Agreed, I’ve had so many questions this week, and without the help I’ve been finding here, I’d really be lost! Thanks so much to all those who tireless answer the questions!

I’ll blush for kelsmom and swimcatsmom and the other real experts.

I like posting on CC, my family doesn’t want to listen to me, they don’t want to hear about EFC, Stafford Loans, medical expenses, FAFSA, CSS Profile, SAT scores, etc.

It is addictive though!
