To those applying that have taken the December SAT: Should I rush my score report?

The December SAT scores just came out, so I am finally ready to send in all my SAT scores. However, it takes about 1-2 weeks for the CollegeBoard just to send out the scores, and even longer if it's by mail, and all Stanford's website says is that the scores "must arrive by the appropriate deadline" (from here).

Does that mean that the scores must arrive by January 1st? If so, there's no way my scores will arrive on time, so does that mean I have to rush them? Different schools prefer the SAT scores in different formats (either electronic or by mail). I haven't checked which one Stanford wants, but I heard that if I rush them, it will only be by mail, so that's why I'm hesitant on doing this, the extra costs aside.

From my understanding, Stanford only accepts mailed scores anyway so rushing would be beneficial. According to my counselor, the December tests will only be taken into account if they are received before your application is reviewed, so as long as you’re not on the very top of the applicant pile, you should be fine.
