To those doing the SAT this weekend!

To those on the Princeton Board doing the SAT this weekend- GOOD LUCK!!!!

I know many of us have studied quite hard for the SAT's. Many stress that they are not as important as expected. Although high scores won't guarentee admission- low scores could potentially hurt your chances.

I know Orbit and a few others are taking the SAT as well so GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Let the dice fly

awwww thanks! :D

(I'm SATII-ing on Sat.)

i am taking SAT....but didn't get a chance to prepare at all.

With IB Diploma and ECs, I am already pulling all-nighters, so it was impossible to "prepare"

Ah well, I hope I do a lot better than last time, and good enough for Princeton.

Yeah, retaking SATs myself, and not able to prepare as much as I'd like to either.

APs + ECs + university physics classes + apps = certain death.

And of course, dead men don't study for SATs.

And quick question: we have to make sure we have Princeton's college code in our admissions ticket, right?

Thank you, Kjoodles! I have, as many of you have, squeezed out some time b/w ap, ec, national merit, etc to take as many practice tests as possible. Practice makes perfect, almost. We've still got 5 days, plenty of time ... not.

I just thought you had to have it on your list of recipeint colleges! mmmm- i should print out my ticket lol!

BWAHAHAHAHA ... Practice test no4 ... here we go ......

Good luck guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2400s for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey if we listed pton on our admissions tickets, should we still send the score reports in separately later on for $9?

If its listed on your recipient colleges then they will get the scores as soon as they are released.

I'm taking it too! Good luck all!

Took my last practice test today....I did okay (2150ish). Hopefully we can all get 2250+!

I'm soo happy there are not more analogies!

I liked the analogies....They just required you knew some basic vocab and logic.

Gets stoned to death

But really, all reading hurts me since I'm not so great time-wise.

::stones critical reading section instead of Cautious Pessimism::

took 2nd to last practice test today...one of the two free ones from collegeboard. quite disappointing 740M, 740WR and 680V :( Verbal was BAD. 1st one went of awesome though, so i cant figure out much what i'll get.

The curve on the new test is just plain evil...both for M and V.

Good luck to all!!!

ok i really stuffed up my chem sat..hmm i ran out of time and kinda guessed half of it...
well, i suppose i did register for the Nov sat in anticipation of me failing this one...

:s

I did my SAT today. DUH! I am cautiously optimistic. That essay topic was fun because of all the references you could draw to it plus I did a study of it for sociology in y12!

I hope everyone went well!!!

Alex

ps- How did everyone feel they went?

For SAT II's, i thought Lit was really easy... and i won't say anything about math because i suck at math and whatever i say won't be true for anyone else on this board :p

I thought Lit was easy and Math II was pretty hard.
