To those of you who attend Catholic schools

Do your teachers + really religious students actually believe tomorrow is the Apocalypse? (6-6-06) Two kids at my school were kept home today, and I heard from a rumuor that their parents wanted their family to spend the "last day on Earth" together.

Wow...

(10 chars)

Um, people are talking about that everywhere.

Mine don't. They have never even talked about it.

Well I don't go to catholic school but I do know that it is just a date nothing to get all excited about.

I want to go see the Omen! :) I loved the original one!

i go to a catholic school:

1-people dont really care about it (most wont even realize it)
2-we're already out, so all I know is...
3-I'm definitely seeing the Omen

***.
I go to an all-male, Jesuit high school and have heard nothing about it.

Don't those kids know there is no god or devil?

thats your opinion, and maybe you should keep it to yourself since quite a lot more people believe in some form of god and/or devil

woah, calm down broseph. I wasn't being totally serious. I don't see why anyone would even be offended by my athiesm. I'm not offended when I see people saying how athiests will burn in hell and how god is real and ****. Chillax.

Uhh, I go to a Catholic school, and I have to say that my school isn't that religious at all. I mean, we do have masses like two or three times a year, and seven semesters of religion classes, but that's about it. No one really "believes" that tomorrow is the Apocalypse (we don't discuss about it, basically) and 99% of the students don't even talk about religious topics at school, unless it's some in-class seminar. The students at Catholic schools (well, over here, at least) pretty much have the same mindset as those in public schools. We talk about the same stuff that's going on in life. Nothing really on heavenly or satanic matters.

i didnt mean it by being offende...sorry if it sounded like that :D

what i meant is that proportionally speaking, many more people believe in god

myschool is just like kchen's, btw

Hey, dudes, if it's the last day on earth, where's the beer?

I go to a conservative Christian school (not Catholic though).

My math teacher was actually ranting on about how he wanted to take a picture of his digital clock at 06-06-06 06:06:06.

I don't think most of our teachers really care...haha. And as far as I'm concerned, we're 15 hours into 06-06-06 and the world hasn't ended yet.

That's a good reason to skip school!
Seriously, the only thing Revelation did was disclosure of the WEALTH of Antichrist in talents so we can recognize it. 666 is a simple number, we shouldn't be afraid of it.

I am the original poster, and I am on the site in a study period. Those kids that stayed home got made fun of a lot.

It was awesome.

just an update

Im not Religous(not highly) I didnt know about this day until I read this 2 kids in my class were talking about it a week ago saying MS.S next week is 6-6-06! I dont even know much about it!

No those are crazy people...

I went to a Catholic high school (graduated 2 weeks ago), and no one ever said anything about 6-6-06. Most people in my school aren't extremely religious. Besides, don't you think the Apopocalypse would have come on June 6, year 6 AD? What about June 6, 1966, and any other June 6 in any other year ending in a 6?

What about 6:66 a.m. on June 66th in the year 666?
