To those who got off Stanford's (or any other) waitlist

I know that there are a million waitlist threads, but they make those of us remaining on the waitlist feel better and less lost. So....

If you got into Stanford via the waitlist, will you choose to take up the offer? And if you're currently enrolled at Stanford but got off the waitlist somewhere, which school is it, and will you choose to take up THAT offer?

150 views and no input? C’mon guys… we know you’re out there

Hey, I got off the waitlist and enrolled a few days ago. There are several people on here and on the Facebook groups that seem to be seriously considering not enrolling, so there’s still hope. Plus, financial aid is notoriously low for waitlist acceptances. I’m guessing up to 60 people will enroll, so there would still be 25 spots left.

Really? I thought everyone off the waitlist got decent FA offers.

Stanford gives those admitted off the waitlist the same consideration for FA as those admitted in RD and SCEA. There are other schools who limit FA or won’t give FA at all those coming off the waitlist.
