I just finished my first quarter of junior year and I got a B in AP Physics C. I got a C on our last test, and i got D's on 4 different quizzes/C's on a bunch more. The worst part is that I study very hard for physics: I do every problem in the back of the chapter (50-60, sometimes 90), I read the chapters 3x's putting sticky notes on confusing topics, and I ask for help in class. And despite this I still suck.
My teacher teaches us in a very college-y kind of way in that he shows us a powerpoint on the topic one day, the next few days assigns practice problems that we do in class, and then after that we have a quiz or a test. There's not much actual teaching/going over problems, and I guess it's hard for me to learn like that. I know a B is still a good grade, but my performance on all these individual quizzes and tests is really worrying because if I'm getting D's like this how do I know I won't fail next quarter?
Our counselors can be flexible with changing schedules, even this late in the year. I'm thinking of asking my counselor if I could switch to AP Physics 1 or AP environmental science instead of physics c. However, if I do successfully switch classes will it look bad on my transcript? It's giving up and is weak to do, I know, but I'm just not smart enough for the work and I can't do it.

TL;DR will switching from ap physics c to environmental science/physics 1 look better than getting straight b's/c's in physics c? Or will it look good to be 'challenging myself' but wreaking havoc on my GPA?
Thanks. Happy Halloween
