<p>i am a student from gettysburg college and i am a freshman. its not that i dont like the college but its just that its in a rural setting and there is not much diversity and opportunities as other schools. I would like to go to mount holyoke college and i have a 3,8 gpa so far. mhc is more competitive, there are more opportunities and its more inspiring to learn with people who are highly motivated to succeed. is it illogical to transfer?
also when is the best time to transfer?after 3 semesters, while i build my gpa and activities?</p>
