<p>(sorry to be so demanding, but) WHEN DO WE GET OUR STUFF?</p>
<p>I haven't even recieved a letter in the mail yet to congratualte me for being selected as a semifinalst. I've read that others have recieved such letters- even participants were mailed "thanks for trying" letters.</p>
<p>Has anyone been contacted (or know any information) about the "prizes" semifinalists recieve? I've heard it's a digital camera, but whatever- I'd like to know when I get it.</p>

<p>Semifinalist is a minor award. Regional finalist can get you into RSI (it's about 5x as hard to get).</p>
<p>I got the gifts for semifinalists today. They were an iPod Shuffle, a backpack, a shirt with the names of all the semifinalists, an umbrella, a certificate, a copy of the USA Today with the ad announcing the semifinalists, a pen, and maybe another small thing or two.</p>
<p>iPod shuffle! I don't really want it though. I have like 5 other mp3 players that I either won or got for free on the after-Thanksgiving day sales of many years. Does anyone know if it's possible to pay extrra and give that to an apple store and get a Nano or Mini?</p>
<p>I wish to know about the iPod shuffle trade-in too. I mean, they could've at least spent an extra $30 for the 1GB version. But no...</p>

<p>attention all thread-readers. here is a kid who went to RSI, has been to ISEF 3 times, is a siemens regional finalist, "pizers" when he thinks about his indian girlfriend DP, and thinks he won't get into princeton ED.</p>
<p>Oh yeah I forgot, he got best of category at ISEF last year, meaning top 14 projects out of the 1000 or so.</p>
