This year:

Val: Harvard ED
Sal: Carneige Mellon

Last Year:
Val: UT-Austin
Sal: UT-Austin

This year:

Val: Harvard ED
Sal: Carneige Mellon

Last Year:
Val: UT-Austin
Sal: UT-Austin

Val: University of Florida (Don't think she applied to anything out of state)
Sal: University of Miami

Another to Cornell, and a friend to Dartmouth. The top GPA's usually have the majority of their AA so they stay in Florida to finish up their bachelors before moving off.

I Wish my school was like that...my old public school was good..
had a few going to ivys some good public schools.. some even good State universities..Some here and there top private schools..ALmost everyone went to college either cc or other quite a few went TO BU..

Im not sure where everyone went from there but last year:
VAL: UPENN i know this b/c I know the Validictorians little brother he used to be a friend of mine and my old locker buddy

we have seven valedictorians. (all tied) they will ATTEND (i dont know for sure all the places they were accepted):

princeton (2)
columbia (1)
UNC- Chapel Hill
Rice
Boston College
Georgetown

we don't rank, but our top kids were accepted at 6 of the 8 Ivies (including H&Y), Stanford, Olin, Cal, UCLA, USC with full ride. Shut out of MIT, no apps to CalTech. All Ivy acceptees are going, except one who could not afford Wharton, and will attend UCLA instead.

She is going to Cornell, not sure where all she applied tho...

Montana State

I myself am going to USC

My school doesnt rank, but:
-32( usually around there every year) people got into UVA ( hopefully i will join them)
- 2 people got into Upenn ( one is an athletic recruit, the other is turning them down for UVA)
- 1 person got into cornell engineering ( same guy who turned penn down)
- 1 person got into princeton
- 3 people got into wash ustl
- 1 person got into duke
- 1 person got into U chicago
- 30ish got into William and mary
- 1 person got into brown u
- couple johns hopkins
- 1 person to Harvad U ( recruited athlete)

Uh i guess that'd be me, going to URoch. Saluditorian going to Montcliar State.

Well we don't have valedictorian/salutatorian at my HS, but the number one ranked student got in Harvard EA, going to Harvard.

University of Virginia (OOS)

We have three: Boston U, U of WA, and WA State

Shows you how screwed up the system is- my friend and I are going to MIT and Princeton

Val (me) - Georgetown
Sal - Yale

Only 5 other people in our class of 60 are going to college. My high school is not the best. But that disadvantage helped us in applying to colleges, as we were the first in our school's history to apply to those colleges.

Top 5:
1. Duke [also got into UVA and BC]
2. Stevens [Columbia and TCNJ]
3. Harvard [Princeton, Yale, MIT, Cornell, Dartmouth, Tufts, Williams, BC, HMC]
4. Davidson [Wesleyan and Bucknell]
5. Tufts [U Chicago and BC]

I don't know exactly where they got accepted but here's where they are going:
Valedictorian - Yale
Salutatorian - Harvard

Val - Princeton ED
Sal - Harvard (also got accepted to Penn)

At my daughter's school -
Valedictorian - Rice
Salutatorian - USC

There are at least 5 that will be going to Ivies, though.

Out of our top 10% (about 60kids), all but about 10 of us are going to either UGA or GA Tech. Our valedictorian and salutorian- both IB students- are going to Tech. I'm barely breaking the top 10% and I'm going to Brandeis and that's in the top 5 schools that any kids at our school go to.

It's odd... I go to a very good public high school but NO ONE goes out of state or really to any elite colleges. The best we have are me, 2 West Pointers, Rice, UNC, and Emory.

Hmm, I don't know about this year yet, but here are last year's:

Valedictorian - Pomona
Salutatorians (2) - Stanford EA & Stanford RD

Valedictorian: Columbia
Salutatorian: Johns Hopkins
