we got i believe 7 into NU but the top of our class.. i dont really know what happened to everyone except my buddy at 3.

Our valedictorian is going to Stanford
Our co-salutatorians are going to Rice and MIT
And then our number four is going to UPenn and our number five is going to Boston College

I posted about our val from last year, and out val from this year signed with William Jewell to play tennis. He recently placed 3rd in state in doubles.

My school's valedictorian who I'm also friends with got accepted to all of the UC's but rejected from all of the ivy league schools and waitlisted at Stanford. After a slight depression and thinking she's failed at life, she's now happily planning on going to UC Berkeley in the fall.

So our actual performance as a class has dropped by a lot this year. Last year, I think we had like 2 national merit scholars. This year, we didin't even have one semi-finalist. Only two kids are going into the Ivy League (not necessarily a bad thing) but normally we have at least one or two getting into a HYPS.

Damn, Dbentley. Your high school must b***. Your val is going to Emerson. Our 2.5 students hit up Emerson. Anyways, both our val and sal this year are going to Yale. That's all I know for sure, but basically if you are in the top 10 at my school, you're essentially guaranteed admission to an Ivy League School. We send about 25-30 kids (class of 400-430) to Ivy League Schools each year.

ncody, my school has only 120 kids in my entire high school and this class was one of the worse classes in recent history-but he didn't apply to many schools because he is majoring in communications, so Emerson is a pretty good fit. i will admit my school is not the best but i live in a town of 3000 in northern newhampshire. also my school is one of the best in northern new hampshire, consistanly outscoring other schools in the region on almost all standarized tests.
