2006
val - Notre Dame
sal- Brown

Our valedictorian is going to Stanford
Our co-salutatorians are going to Rice and MIT
And then our number four is going to UPenn and our number five is going to Boston College

Since my class graduated, I know for sure where the top students are going:

Val: Columbia
Sal: Georgetown

3: RPI w/a large scholarship

4: Cornell

21: (Me) NYU (4 or 5 from my class are enrolling at NYU).

My graduation pamphlet-thingy also gave a list of the college acceptances of the class of '07. Some of the more notable were:

American

Amherst

Babson

BU

BC

Northeastern

Colby

Brown

Columbia

Dartmouth

UPenn

Cornell

Davidson

Johns Hopkins

Duke

RPI

Carnegie Mellon

Cooper Union

Georgetown

NYU

University of Rochester

UNC at Chapel Hill

Bucknell

Dickinson

Lehigh

Penn Sate

William & Mary

West Point

Vanderbilt

University of Notre Dame

No HYPs or MIT. I don't think anyone applied to Caltech or Stanford, or any of the UCs since I go to an east coast school.

06: Val & Sal: Brown
07: Yale & Brown I believe, but we have 15 people tied for Val, so i'm not sure who is 100% Val and Sal.

I posted about our val from last year, and out val from this year signed with William Jewell to play tennis. He recently placed 3rd in state in doubles.

We did pretty insane with recruiting (all for non major sports though). Some of them were top 5-10% as well.

our val got into everywhere he applied and is goin to harvard next year.

for the past 4 years-
2007-
val-Emerson
sal-Saint Micheals
2006-
val-Colby
sal-Ithica
2005-
val-Bentley
sal-Connecticut College (sister)
2004-
val-Penn State
sal-UNH

She's going to Brown :)
Last year: Princeton
Year before: MIT
Year before: Harvard
Year before: MIT

This year: Dartmouth
Last year: Yale (accepted to HYPS and M... incredible)
05: Harvard
04: Princeton

My school's valedictorian who I'm also friends with got accepted to all of the UC's but rejected from all of the ivy league schools and waitlisted at Stanford. After a slight depression and thinking she's failed at life, she's now happily planning on going to UC Berkeley in the fall.

Mine is going to USC.

Last year: Stanford

So our actual performance as a class has dropped by a lot this year. Last year, I think we had like 2 national merit scholars. This year, we didin't even have one semi-finalist. Only two kids are going into the Ivy League (not necessarily a bad thing) but normally we have at least one or two getting into a HYPS.

Val: Columbia (Fu)
Sal: Fordham

Others: Yale (3), Princeton (1), Duke (2)

Interesting side note: No one from my public magnet school has ever gotten into MIT.

Damn, Dbentley. Your high school must b***. Your val is going to Emerson. Our 2.5 students hit up Emerson. Anyways, both our val and sal this year are going to Yale. That's all I know for sure, but basically if you are in the top 10 at my school, you're essentially guaranteed admission to an Ivy League School. We send about 25-30 kids (class of 400-430) to Ivy League Schools each year.

For my school. there were 4 valedictorians this year... 2 is going to Cornell and 2 is going to ucla.

ncody, my school has only 120 kids in my entire high school and this class was one of the worse classes in recent history-but he didn't apply to many schools because he is majoring in communications, so Emerson is a pretty good fit. i will admit my school is not the best but i live in a town of 3000 in northern newhampshire. also my school is one of the best in northern new hampshire, consistanly outscoring other schools in the region on almost all standarized tests.

I don't think we have a valedictorian...

but I know we did have 2 people go to Harvard...

val EAed Georgetown and is going there

usually our biggest acceptances come from athletic recruits or other random kids who are not ranked 1/2

A wharton, few other upenns, brown

My valedictorian is going to MIT. He got accepted into Harvard and MIT but chose MIT instead.

lol,
Top 4% was
UF
UF
UF...etc..
Cept one went to NYU..
