Today is #NationalWalkingDay!

I love to walk. I have cut back on distance over the last 2 years due to achilles tendinitis, but that’s significantly better, so I am trying to build back up to walking 2 miles each day. I much prefer to walk outside and some days want to skip when it is cold and windy, but then I will see Al Roker in my Instagram feed and it will shame me into lacing up my walking shoes and heading out. It’s generally always nicer where I live than it is in NYC during the cold months, so he is a good motivation for me.
