Today's SAT

Actually Thegame you might be right- I don't from just seems right to me. Using by as a means works though.

i sure hope so. i didn't like that section

me either..........

So then it would be "by side-by-side rickshaws"? That doesn't seem much better.

i think from is fine... checks grammar book

so wait... was the answer no error .. or another choice?

http://www.collegeconfidential.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?69/94978

a little discussion about it

control+F "rick"

nothing i can find seems to say that from is bad.

i say no error

i said no error (please be right!!!!)

the link thegame gave us provides no definite answer... there looked like there was a pretty healthy debate about it

Haha, I remember one talking about "a student's prospective," I almost marked E but I caught myself.

The first blank was Contain and the second blank was check.

I got the 'perspecive' one right, that's the first time I've seen the SAT do that, but I was ready for it.

Does anyone remember the CR vocab question that used the word 'vituperative.'?

vituperative was the correct answer

Wow, that link only made me more unsure.

Did anyone put "desirous" as a diction error? And for the improving paragraphs, did you put "however" or "nevertheless"?

Off topic Q: Is it possible, like with math and CR, that other people have different writing tests?

(I'm guessing so, but just want to make sure..)

My test was totally different with CR about bioluminance, asian's, and poetry translations. I had experimental writing. Do any of you with the same test know which was experimental?

I know vituperative was the correct answer, but I can't remember the sentence. I want to know so I'll know if it's a sentence that I marked incorrectly; I don't remember seeing it.

It's about being verbally abusive.
