Today's SAT

whats the answer for the paragrpah improvement about the medicine one
... is it the answer with the colon...
it goes something like
one example is medicine... blah blah blah

Yeah I think that was it.

but its kinda weird....
one example is medicine: (colon)
shouldnt it be followed with a semicolon

thats the anwer i put but i m not sure
anyone confirm this?

I thought "to those of us who had" was CORRECT solars so I got NO ERROR.

Think about it this way...a lot of formal letters and **** say "To all those concerned,..." and that's perfectly alright so that's not a idiom error.

I don't rememeber the question, but formal letters start, "To whom it may concern."

makshim, did you have "however" and 2 "as it is now"

For the however question I had "In other words." or something like that, and don't remember the other question, perhaps if you can rewrite it?

I really do not think it was However.

The sentences basically said the same thing - the second reiterating the first. The only one that made sence was In Other Words.

Do you guys remember that grid in about if tokens can be worth 3 points or 5 points and someone has 585 points, what is the most number of tokens he can have?

I just put 195, as it didn't say he had to have tokens of both types.

Does everyone have the same essay questions...mine was about inconsistency

ya i think it was 195- and i had that essay also (although others didnt)

if someone puts 26.6 for a gridin instead of 80/3, is it still correct, if the correct answer is a nonterminal decimal 26.666666666666667?

K thx

i think its 26.6 ot 26.7 works

candyman- whatd u think of the essay?

i thought it was alright actually. I talked about John Kerry and his inconsistency in ideas and how it cost him the election and brought up some other points. It wasnt as bad as i thought

ya i agree

FOR ANYONE WHO WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE "SOMETIMES QUITE MOVING" WRITING SECTION QUESTION:

In my opinion, that's wrong because--at least what I was thinking--it should be "at times" quite moving, shouldn't it? I put "sometimes" as the error

I had indicate. I'm pretty sure it's indicate...

I had irreverent too.

You guys...it was the relationship between ART and society, not scientists...right? And I can't remember what ai put. But for the scientists and philosphers question, i did NOT put the circumvent answer. What was the other answer?

Yeah! I had equanimity! We're getting all the same answers...
