THe answer is explitive, and I said that they are less restrictive on other groups because they would allow scientists to make comments that may go against the social norm

it was number 8 in section 2 of the math right before the grid ins, which was after that one where the answer for the perimeter of the quadrilateral was 11+ root13. was the answer ak/5? neone remember? lol

here is a question about writing: one of the final questions was about best changing the sentence about the gas nitrogen dioxide. what did u guys put?

Here are some confirmed answers from the version with the Chair problem
the Robot, and the Prism passage:

Coleridge: his gift of conversation actually prevented him from achieving his full potential
If he paints a watch on a woman from the 18th Century that would be an ANACHRONISM
VITUPERATIVE, EQUANIMITY and DILATORY..FORESTALLED were answers. Does anyone remember the questions?
DEFEND was the answer to the one about belieing her parsimony

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER A SENTENCE COMPLETION ABOUT INSECTS AND A BAROMETER?

i put monitored i think

i think it was something with weight and hrs or something actually... ak/5 i think was answer. confirm?

If you have "a" pounds of muscle for every 5 pounds of body wight, then if you weigh 10 pounds you have 2a pounds of muscle, and if you weigh 20 pounds you have 4a pounds of muscle. SO, if you weigh "k" pounds, then you have (k/5)(a), or (ka/5) pounds of muscle. SO I guess I went with that and from that reasoning.

sunnyboy- I put pretty much the same answers as you did, except I messed up on one of the fill-ins (this is really aggravating me). I hated the prism passage beacuse I thought 2 of the answers to the 2nd question were both kind of right but not totally on-the-money. And as for the insect question, I feel like I do remember one, but I can't remember what I put, which means I think I got it right. If you remember it, post it.

was monitored the answer to the incest q?

i thought it was registered

wait, u might be right, i kinda forgot what i put... what were the second words next to monitored and registered

blah blah blah, for each had been ready, having had preparation.

Can you use "for" to mean "because," after a comma?

They had all but quit-- does that mean they didn't quit or that they did quit?

blah blah blah, with the strongest running and skating.

or blah blah blah, and the strongest of whom ran and skated.

Which is better?

What is the definitive answer to the pail problem?

What did both authors from the passage agree on in the Coleridge one?

"strongest of whom ran and skated" is what I put but OMG I WAS SPENDING SO MUCH TIME DECIDING BETWEEN 3 AND 4 but I finally chose 4. I believe that is the only writing MC I had trouble on.

why would it be defend and not underwrite?

Underwrite would mean she actually took financial responsibility for the charity, something that a parsimonious person would not do. Defend does not have anything to do with liberally spending money, aside from the fact that it's a charity.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong whoever said defend with such confidence.

woo 89, the quadrilateral question was 11 root 3 and ak/5 is correct

ahh.. i just realized i wrote about being resolute and taking a stance for one's belief on the body paragraph of the essay.

can consistency and resoluteness the similar thing?

The pail problem is ABSOLUTELY c.

The 8 refers to the height of the bottom pail minus the height of the top parts (2). The 2n is the c value times the number of pails.

What choice was ak/5 ?

I think I put C for that one "with blabh blah" sounds better
