Hey here's a question.
See when u finish the TOEFL or SAT, you're allowed to assign scores to be sent to few schools, So for example, i;m only applying RD, but i just finish my toefl and sat, so i've assigned my list of 4 schools, so scores will be sent to this schools, like now in september, but what will college receive if i havent even send in my application forms!! and how they relate my scores later to my applications?? Meaning will they keep scores received in a certain area and later apply the scores report to the application, what if i decide not to apply there? wouldn't it be very troublesome for admission office to handle stuff like this?

Colleges start an admissions file on you when they receive test scores or the application. If application comes later, it is put in file already previously established for you when test scores arrived. HOWEVER, sometimes they screw up when the test score comes first and fail to match the app with it, so when you do send in app you should check afterward to assure the match-up has been made. If they have set up a file for you based on test scores and then you do not apply, your file will remain designated as incomplete, and thus you will not be considered for admission, and ultimately, usually in about a year, it will be discarded. Admission offices have been handling this stuff efficiently for many decades.

oh great, thanks a lot, coz sending extra scores to colleges is very expensive, $17 per college and not using the four free designated ones are quite wasteful.
Thanks for the info!
