TOEFL or SAT?

You still need to submit your SAT scores.

hi everyone!
Im a junior and I moved to America in 2005 (summer).
Im just wondering, can I submit my toefl score instead of SAT score when I apply to colleges, since my native language is not english and I don't speak english at home?
thx alot!

TOEFL is to test your ability to see if you can understand english so you can learn in an American Institution.

SAT is a test to determine your ability.

two completely different things.

so will it be useless even if I have a good toefl score?

well, it wont be useless because it matters in some aspects
a lot of colleges have a preferred TOEFL score
for example, i know that Columbia University along with other schools want TOEFL score that is higher than 100 or something along the line.

also, if you have been here less than five years, they actually require you to send in TOEFL score.

hope that helped!

lol thx,
the only thing that ticks me off is that,
I got a 111 (R: 30, L: 28, W: 30, S: 23) <------ 23!!!!!! SO BAD, will it give me a disadventage when I apply to colleges?

Probably not,
I mean, you have 2 perfect scores which should cover up
I didnt get any perfect score in either of the section

also, I dont think they would care much about speaking section considering that they used to take PBT which did not have speaking section
