<p>I also have search for classes and UVA collab. Do you have a “Program Advisor” none assigned -under your To Do list on the right side of the page?</p>
<p>Sorry guys, but the SIS screen has not, and will not, change in any subtle way to indicate that a decision is near…</p>
<p>Dean J will let us know the decision posting date in advance. That’s the only clue you will get.</p>

<p>I have both…and the “Program Advisor” thing as well…but we have them well before the “view decision” button appears, right? And I do think that every one has them…</p>

<p>I just wanted to warn you guys about my experience at another university about “changing SIS type” pages. When the other university’s decisions were close to coming out, there were changes made (subtle) on the page. Everyone on college confidential that was following it read positive things into the changes. The changes took place on my son’s page as well, so he was hopeful. When decisions were released, he was denied admission. I don’t know what UVa does, but don’t read anything into updates on computer pages other than the official decision when it is released. Dean J will let us know when official decisions are released. Like everyone else, it is easy to get caught up in the frenzy. My good friend, whose kids are all in college says that "everyone is in their first choice of schools by mid september
