UVA SIS Page says Decision Made, but can't view it!

I just logged into the UVA SIS, and the status shows decision made with a green check mark. It's not even the complete any more, it's straight up decision made. But when I click into it, it tells me that "sorry, you can't view your decision till April 1st."

Why do they do that? And does everybody get the same check mark? Is this a good sign or a bad sign? Anybody has any idea about it?

…sigh

It’s something built into the system. Everyone whose application is complete receives that message. An actual decision hasn’t really been made, it just says that. Just wait until April 1st.

well… the thing is, there’s three options: incomplete, complete with a green dot, and decision made with a green check. It’s at the check with decision made. So I thought it was actually decision made.

HAHA oopsie just kidding. read this thread…

yeah… guess so… disregard the thread!
I already got in 4 of my regular decision schools, guess UVA isn’t as fast as those!

Yea I’m pretty sure UVA sticks to April 1st!

It’s weird how some schools notify for RD early and some don’t. Like you, I’ve heard from three already (and one of them is better than a few schools I won’t hear from until April 1st) haha

We are usually early. I announce the date on the blog if we are able to release decisions before April 1.

Dean J, you should ask a moderator to pin a thread for you. The thread can contain you saying something like “read this before you ask any questions,” and contain a link to your blog. Even on the blog, I see people ask questions that have been answered hundreds of times.
