Too hard senior year schedule for me?

Here's my schedule,

PE
Multimedia (stuff like photoshop, Flash, etc...)
Regular Senior literature
Spanish IV Honors
AP Chemistry
AP MacroEcon - for one year
AP Stats

At Communtiy College (These go from september to early december)
Differential Equations (5 hours a week, two days a week)
Physics Heat and Light (this is past AP PHysics C) (7 hours a week two days a week)

We wouldn’t know what you can and can’t handle. I can think of plenty of people who can handle that schedule and plenty who cant.

^Shhhhhh logic is forbidden in this thread.

To OP, that schedule is obviously too hard. We all know you aren’t man enough to take it.

I know people who have 6 AP + 1 Honors class, pulling a 4.0 (non-weighted!), and still hangs out very very frequently.

She’s very intelligent and is a master at time management, but not everyone is like that. It’s totally dependent on the person.

would this be good enought for ivy league schools and schools like stanford mit caltech?

No, NO, and No.

wait why not thankins?

Maybe I shouldn’t say that. It’s not impossible for the average person to get into MIT, but the middle 50% of ACT scores are 33-35, I believe.

If you’re pulling those kind of 97 percentile number, odds are, you’re not struggling with a schedule similar to yours. >_>

wait… so this schedule is for the “average person” then? And where are my 97 percentile numbers?

@OP I don’t think you should take AP Statistics especially since you are alerady doing an upper-level math, Differential Equations. AP Statistics is a very useless class and you will save time by getting rid of it from your schedule.

@THankins When did the OP even mention his ACT or SAT scores?

yeah ive been thinking a bout dropping stats, im mean the questions weve been doing were all like writing paragraphs. but itsin the middle of my schedule so dropping wouldn’t really help me, i’d just be in the school library for like 45 minutes

We aren’t the people who know your strengths and weaknesses… you are the only person who knows yourself the best but by the looks of it you should be able to handle it

Why isn’t your school giving you some room in your schedule in recognition of the two CC classes that you are taking? Eight classes is a time-management nightmare when you are also applying to college this fall.
You need to clear out the deadweight in your schedule so you have time to get the important stuff done. Why are you taking PE as a senior?

yeah, i guess stats is not important comp to other stuff. but lolololol, uh, i need multimedi for art credit and pe for pe credit to graduate lol, yeah, it sucks.

Is “senior literature” also needed to graduate?

yeah, all seniors need lit, the only other option was ap lit, and i knew that would probably make me insane

the only thing i can cut out is stats, but i mean its not even a lotof homework, ppl form previous years just bsed it the whole time.

I just counted again…this is 9 classes plus applying to college!
You need to sit down with your counselor and make some cuts.
If you crash and burn in a first semester class, it will hurt you.

@tonywu

You can use those 45 minutes to do homework from the classes before it. It’s the perfect opportunity to save even more time.

You DON’T NEED STATS. MIT, Caltech, Stanford don’t give a **** about it.
It doesn’t matter if it’s easy. Whether it’s 5 minutes or 15 minutes spent on it, it will still be time wasted.

Also, Tony, what are you planning on majoring in college?
