Senior year schedule

Is this too hard of a senior year schedule?

AP Calc BC
2/3 AP Chem
4 AP Eco
5 AP US Gov

Honors British Lit/ Writing for Colllege

AP Comp Sci

AP Physics w/ Calc

for me it would be... but if you are a supergenius, probably not.

It's not awful...Obviously it's not a blow-off, but it's definately not suicide.

How on earth do you plan on fitting in all those classes? BC, and physics C are 2 periods each so thats 10 periods without lunch. Way too many classes. Choose 5-6 classes that you are really interested in and stick with them

Well, mine is so much easier ^_^
1/. GYM
2/. GT dance
3/. AP Stat
4/. AP Calc BC
5+6/. AP Physics B
7/. GT Dance (again)
8/. US History II
9/. English

BC and Phys C are both 1 period in my school

are u serious? we have 1 and a half period for AP science, for lab, you know. Then the rest 20 mins' for lunch.

Are there certain AP classes that "look better" to colleges? Would "they" look down upon taking easy AP courses such as physcology as opposed to bio?

no, not at all. AP courses are just for college transfering. And for some students, taking AP classes is for credits that raises their weighted GPA and help them to be in a higher rank

APEnvironmental
APMicroecon
ApGoverment
APArt
AP Lit
Physics Honors

Genesis:

YES! AP Bio, Physics, Chem, Calc, Eng Lit, & Euro are biggies. Stats, Psych, Human Geography (huh?), Govt, Enviro and many others are so-called 'AP Lites'. They are definitely are better than taking college prep physiology, but not as impressive (i.e., difficult) as AP the holy grail of Bio/Chem/Physics.

what would Art History and both Econ tests (together in one full year class) be considered? i hear AH is hard and econ is easy but AH is not considered that great. input would be greatly appreciated

Like anything in education, depends on the teacher. S took Art HIstory soph year and really enjoyed it, but then he is a possible history major; teacher was also engaging.

The AP Lites are typically a one-quarter class at college (includes both econs), in comparison to Bio/Chem which earns two quarters of credit.
