Too late for financial aid--can I re-apply?

So I sent an incomplete application to a college (no supplement, no financial aid stuff). I wasn't really hoping because I didn't expect this college to accept me anyway. But they did, and I don't know what to do because I can't file for FA anymore, and there is no way my family can afford college without it.

I wrote to them asking for an appeal, but I don't think they'll grant it. I was wondering if I could just re-apply next year (since I'm having a gap year anyway) with complete files? Even if they accepted me already? Or had there been some cases where in the students were given another chance?

I wrote to the college already, but i'd still like to hear what you have to say.

I apologize for being so stupid. Why did I have to be so lazy... sigh.

This is a question that you’ll also have to ask the college, unfortunately.

But even with a late application, you’ll still be able to get federal student loans (and Pell grant, if your family income is low enough that you qualify).

Instead of reapplying, ask for a Deferral. Then you are guaranteed admissions next year. Then, meet the deadlines for applying for FA next year.

BTW: I assume you applied to other colleges. Once you have filled out the FAFSA and CSS Profile, it is not that much harder to finish the process with another school.
