Too Many Classes?

I'm going to be a freshman and I'm taking a total of 6 classes.

Criminal Justice
Math
Math(Lab)
English
Sociology
Political Science

Plus my University Seminar Class once a week.

Is this too much? Do you think I'll be able to handle them?

It depends on you as a person. If you are responsible and dedicate your time to school work then that is completely plausible.

Nope. You just have to be focused and make sure you don’t start skipping classes. You can handle it.

I kind of depends on you and the classes. At my school that number of classes could be pushing it and a little much. However spending on how the classes are set up you could be okay and just have a few weeks were you have several papers due at about the same time.

It more depends on how many credits that comprises.
Those 6 classes is probably about 18 credits I am guessing. That is definitely not an easy load but if you work hard, and you focus and not get distracted you should be able to do fine.
It really depends on your personality but I would recommend in the future not going above 18 credits unless you are really determined and know you can handle it.

Thanks guys. @orion12 they total 16 credits.

16 credits is a reasonable load. For me, I need to take 16 credits minimum per quarter to graduate on time. Your classes seem varied enough that it should be okay. For the most part it just seems like a lot of reading and writing to me.
