I understand the concept of quantity over quality, but because I attend a small school in a small town, my ECs aren't particularly spectacular, but they're decent. I just want to know if listing so many will come off as desperate, and whether I should remove some solely for brevity's sake. On the common app, they are listed off as:

Football: Defensive Captain and Conference winners

-Founder and President of Multiple Language and Culture Clubs: This is probably my most impressive. I know 5 languages and have lived in 3 countries during my time in high school, and everywhere I have been I have always tried to teach and learn about other languages and cultures. Will probably feature in an essay or two.

-Guitar: Co-Founded School Band and lead guitar.

Founder and Class President of student government

-Summers working at the Grand Bazaar with tourists from a lot of countries.

-Have spent the last two summers designing and constructing a house with my father.

-150 hours of community service at a homeless shelter.

I simply don't want to come off as superficial, though I have spent 4+ years on most of them. I'm thinking about scrapping the last 3 that I listed, but I'm not sure. Opinions?
