<p>Do female Columbia students feel they outnumber the guys due to the Barnard students who also attend Columbia classes, sports teams, parties, clubs, ect?
Obviously male students would not have a problem with this, but what is the female Columbia student prospective</p>

<p>Look at the numbers; there are significantly more girls.</p>
<p>^that would be true if there were to be barnard girls were on columbia's campus all the time. In general only a proportion of barnard girls would be on columbia's campus at any point (in classes / walking around), 20-30% i'm guessing. The average barnard student takes 3 classes a year at columbia, assuming each takes ten classes, that would be 30% of their classes. So using the 30% you get a male:female ratio of 45:55, which isn't too bad, hardly noticeable.</p>

<p>Well... are Barnard's girls any better looking than the ones from Columbia? I suppose that's the vital component of this.</p>
<p>yeah there are some really good-looking barnard girls, but there are also a lotta really good-looking columbia girls. i think for some columbia guys though, it may seem like barnard girls are better looking, just because we see sorta the same attractive columbia girls in our year all the time, like you sorta see the same attractive columbia girls around campus, so they kinda get old, but then columbia guys go over to barnard and see all these girls they haven't really seen before who're really attractive. almost like an exotic becomes erotic thing from AP psych.</p>
<p>Columbia goggles are a +2. the equivalent of 3-4 beers. you'll meet a 3 and think she's a 5, you'll meet a 5 and think she's a 7, etc.</p>
<p>going to the rest of the country, particularly the south and southwest, will make you curse your chosen location of school... as you oggle dozens of girls who don't think they're hot but would be carried around from class to class at columbia.</p>

If you're a male, your testosterone should be at a high level.
If you're a female, every guy would pursuit you, regardless of how many men there are on campus, because Columbia is in NYC.</p>
