Too many people to live with?

I am looking for housing for next year at my school, and I found one that is oceanside near the heart of my school party scene. I called the guy and he said I can check it out on Monday. The thing is, he said that it's 9 people living in a 4 bedroom place (I think it's a house), and although he also said I wouldn't be living in a triple, I wonder if 9 guys in one house would be a problem as far as drama and too many individual personailites, etc. For me, since it's just me trying to find a place to live in with people who need one or two more roommates, the people I'd be living with would be the most important thing, but would I run into problems living in a house with 9 other guys, even if I got along well with them and shared common ground and stuff with them? I don't want my living situation next year to turn into one of those reality shows lol.

damn. thats a lot of people. so if you steal something from your roomates you always have 8 other people to put the balme on.

nah you're in college there should be 16 people in that house. anything less is a luxury.

I think that is too many. There are many issues that come up that are easier to deal with when you have fewer housemates. I live with three other girls and it works well. Think of the expenses that will need to be split, schedules coordinated, and the amount of noise. Good luck finding a place though. Some pros: you'e sure to click with someone, and it could be a great learning experience.

Too many. How many bathrooms? I know you said guys and not girls, but still - if there's anything less than 3 bathrooms, you'll be at each others' throats every a.m. waiting for the shower.

Do you want to cook? How many refrigerators are there? I've shared a normal-sized fridge with three other girls, and stuff would spill out of it. We're clean, we don't keep extra stuff in there, everything is fresh - and it's still hard to squeeze it all in.

Living room? Can you all lounge around there? Will you have a quiet place to study? Who cleans? How often?

Houses have a way of feeling smaller than dorms. Mostly, it's because you're sharing every facility with the same people.

proton: actually that's 7 other people. the person you stole it from can't steal from himself.

oh yeah huh

well it depends... at my house at home we have 7 people with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.. yet nobody really "shares" a room.. other than my mom and dad.. I know we aren't crowded at home, because nobodys really ever home at the same time, but college is different.. it just depends how you handle people :)
