Too many SAT subject tests HURT admissions chances

I'm a senior and I've noticed that even the most selective schools require at most only 2 or 3 SAT subject tests...

I have 6.

In 2 sittings, they are:

800: Math2, Biology, Physics
790: Chemistry
750: US History
730: Literature

I know that the scores will fulfill any requirement by any school, but the question is, will they end up HURTING my application? And not the scores themselves, the fact that I took 6 of them... will college adcoms think I'm an "overtester" ? if such a thing exists.

BTW, I've taken both the ACT and SAT once each, and don't plan on taking again- I doubt those will hurt much, but it's the SAT subjects that I'm worried about.

Thanks!

No, it will not hurt your application.

Several 800s and some other high scores will not hurt your admissions chances. Relax.

Not a chance bud.

I think that it would only apply to those who take the same test over again. Taking a variety of the subject tests should do you no harm!

My only concern is that some colleges may wonder why this kid took weekend time to take tests, while he could’ve been doing something else productive… but of course it WAS only 2 days… 3 tests a day…
