I signed up for the following classes for winter quarter:

POL 004
ECON 1A
SAS 002
PSYCH 001
and a freshman seminar

it totals 17 units.
i’m currently taking a freshman seminar and it’s minimal to no work, and i figured i could really use the easy A.

and it may be hard to believe with 17 units, but with this schedule, I have mondays and wednesdays starting at like 4pm and NO CLASS ON FRIDAYS :)

should i stick with this schedule? i wanted to load up more because i’ve only been taking 13 units this quarter…

plus, can someone tell me which classes I selected are hard/easy?

ecn 1a was pretty basic, but i had a crappy prof.
psc 1 had a lot of reading and you have to do experiments (you don't conduct them, you're just a subject in them)

i don't know about the other classes, but as long as you keep up with the readings and such, you should be fine. (assuming procrastination doesn't take over your life)

dmission, your load sounds manageable, but it'll be tough. however, that tends to be the case with most engineering majors. i'm a cs major, and as time progresses, and i move into upper-div coursework, i find myself taking lighter loads (13-15 units).

If you're just doing the CS major from the college of L&S, you should have enough time-- the major is only about 110 units. Let's say you allow 30 units for GEs (assuming that none of your med school classes fulfill GEs, which they do), and you still have 40 units left over. I think you should be fine.

When you get a 5 on the Chemistry AP exam, you consult with an adviser to decide which class you start with. He could've met with the adviser and they determined he should start with CHE 2C, but he didn't take the class till this quarter.
